Moon Light Enjoys Being Bright
Moon Light Enjoys Being Bright In my life, many moons I have seen Shining in the sky on a village green While over the ocean moon does glow Even on animals who sleep and grow. High above trees, moon will appear Below surface of earth did disappear So on next day it could rise again Sometimes full or appearing thin. Moon has a quarter in its each phase And all around it may have a haze When yellow, maybe blue or even red Shining on my window as I go to bed. Moon for lovers by God was made Above barn where His Son once laid In sky when wise man were lead by a star They had started off travelling from afar. My moon again soon I will start to see May mean many things to you and me And what I like about moon most of all Its radiance down on me does want to fall. James Thomas Horn Retired Veteran and Poet
