How Do We Reconcile
How do we reconcile? (From my pen -27/06/2013) White was the color to declare the peace Supposed to leave us with life without crease It's no longer fashionable, and pure We depend on black to bring the cure Whatever the right medicine It offers no cure for this discipline , Now there is a new fashion and road We now do things on the b e e code Right is just right with a slight twist We now move on to an all new list Does not matter if you know your work I am black , is that a quirk? I'm just a person who strive for better Does not matter that you work to the letter The dice fell, it lies in my favor This is my turn my lily white neighbor I don't want you here, I wish you would go I will do better for sure , I know Ignoring the law, does not matter Everything you had , I'll certainly scatter You oppressed my mother and my father Instead of befriending us much much rather You instruct us to stand to one side Only whites were welcome to go inside If this country goes down then let it be known The grave you dug was actually you own Chances went by, to level the plain You don't understand my inner pain. You think in my heart is pure hate even if it is, will not change my state But let me tell you and not hesitate I'm working on my dream, lest it's too late So tell me Mr. Farmer, let me know What is your part in the new solution Are you planning to serve another blow Or instead prepared to further our constitution?
