My heart lies busted in your hands for honesty was never near. The happiness you brought has been stolen away. I came back home but found no trace of you here. The ache of loss and the hope that clings are twisted tightly to my core. Though shadows press with silent stings, the soul keeps chasing what it was made for. A week ago, the world was calm and slow. Yet through the fog, one gentle glow remained. It led me where the silent rivers flowed and softened all the darkness into light. Though time moves ahead, love stays within the peaceful heart. A steady light that never fades.
