My Morning
Didn't go to sleep so no need to wake up Claimed the last of the coffee, just enough to fill my cup Ears plugged with my headphones listening to epic mix music While writing a poem about my morning exclusive The walking dead plays on my TV screen Even though its not even being seen Now I'm thinking about what to write next Typing as I'm trying to create an effect Even with no sleep, I still day dream Thoughts pouring out into a stream Water gleams as fish dive out to see This imagery I created defines me Right leg moving to the musics beat Better stop before i catch another random cramp in my feet Infatuated by my music and writing poetry My love of expressing myself is clearly seen alone sitting in the dark Just glad I can't hear the dogs outside bark Now I feel the need to continue honing my martial arts But doing it with no rest would not be smart Its five o clock now and soon the sun will rise Stayed up but still got things to do so can't close my eyes
