Reflections of Her As I Kiss the Ceiling
reflections of her as i kiss the ceiling i become lost in thoughts warm and maternal as the new spider in the corner wonders who i am so many think i am strange in an isolated state now, but especially at this time most try to see if my brain is actually an instrument of percussion, but i am way beyond the regulars' thought processes i am seeing mirrors similar to childhood fun houses, but then i see her the warm smile easily gives here away i lose the battle of wits with my tears she kept her promise and came for a visit she opens her arms to me and welcomes me in with confirmation i am that slightly spoiled boy again with my head on her right bosom i tell her i miss her and i love her i then ask her if we could, just her and me, to the beach one more time just for old times sake she replies with a sad shake of her head and as she slowly fades away she whispers back to me....'TIME'
