Short Spells
An eclipse of a full moon From the darkness Light will appear soon Like a bed of roses In summertime The chills of winter Will be coming soon But then the summer time heat Comes back around The short spells of darkness and gloom Will be defeated And everything shall have light and bloom Like a sting from a nettle From the yard After a while the vicious sting will settle Some moments of life are pretty hard But they will soon come to pass The harsh time will never last Brace the struggles And time shall pay you With a bright sunny day And a fresh petal will come to Blossom The butterfly shall spread its wings It to waits out the dark And rejoices in what time brings It waits for the fresh new start It learns in this dark time apart.
