This Weary One
My father, hear my cry... Theres a soul oe'r bound by sorrow, weary, worn and troubled: bent beneath a load of sin and woe, knowing only fear, sinking in it's own mire and walking to and fro in this awful maze of sin. Lost and undone, this weary one. My father, touch her heart... Fill the emptyness within with grace, just one touch from thee and her anguish dissipates. Deliver this weary soul from the darkness of sin, teach her thy ways and lead her into the pathway of life. Make her thine own, this weary one. My father, hear my prayer... Your mercy is great, Your love eternal and answered are my prayers. Your works are done in truth and all You begin, You finish and now to thee I bring a wayward sinner. Mend her heart in Your grace and cover her in thy blood; this weary one My father, Your grace is marvelous... By it You save sinners, lifting them in thy love. I am the chiefest of sinners, to me You have made this known, now in humbleness of mind and heart I come to thee. Reveal her sin unto her and show her thou art the way, at Your feet I lay, this weary one.
