Dusty Treasures
He searched the dusty attic for an old book. A book he should have treasured. But instead he neglected it and let it gather dust. He could hardly forgive himself for this oversight. As the dust swirled in the dimly lit attic his mind wandered back to when he first laid eyes on the book. Suddenly he was jolted back to the present by a loud noise. Thunder. Raindrops dampened hopes as the sun hid behind dark clouds. He wished for a silver lining as he renewed his search. He looked in every nook and cranny. Then under some old magazines he found his treasure. As the rain beat down on the roof he wiped the dust off the cover. Slowly the title came into view: "The Adventures of Robin Hood".In a small bookstore in the old neighborhood was when he first laid eyes on it. He loved it even more now than he did then. He opened the book to the first chapter and began to read. On a rainy day in a dusty attic his adventures began.
