Fading
Uselessness hit me again Will the madness rear its face My soft cool demeanor appear Smiles and gentle looks Twice a week it comes Comforting those I love When the storm lays waste to my soul My inner darkness steps forth Around the house a loud thud That all can distinguish Banging away in my brain I repulse those around me Driving them past sanity Like a car, I careen off the road It rouses darkness Mowing down the lovely roses That I clipped and put in a vase for you The disgust you feel I cannot hold you at blame The demon fires No water will quench How I long for my serene Angelic actions to be present Only the dirty water drips from my eyes If only I could meter out my emotions Then you could enjoy my company Relish in my delicate nature But those days of sunshine And flashy dragonflies fade so quick
