Disillusion
I just want to cry out like I mean something, Run through the night of a snapped shut street, Outside the houses where the people sleep, Pouring out all the bored mediocrity Into the sieve of their massacred dreams. I want to have you like someone has genius; I want to pin you open and see how you breathe. I want to disappear into something eternal; I want to laugh at death’s futility. My dearest, finite never scared me. I want so many things, none of them concrete. All of these people that don’t mean a thing; You just stand there and make them obsolete. You might as well be the last of everything. As for me? Unimpressed with what life turned out to be: Expendable; Exactly what it seemed. If you weren’t so beautiful I might not even like you. Isn’t it a shame? Everything is so stupid and I can hardly utter your name. Things are no longer same; I’ve loved you since the very first day.
