In Other Words Part 2
9 years later I got a call the other day from a good old friend of mine The one lost in his way who had that infamous last line Yeah we had always kept in touch he is a good friend indeed But what I saw in him was such that he had the same need We came from the same neighborhood and Catholic school And we were usually up to no good because we we're cool But life quickly continues but like I said, we kept in touch Keeping up with old news and religious arguments as such I never thought he heard a word when I got one in edge wise And the things that I heard were all the things that I despise There was no sign, nothing! but My Lord never disappoints I heard all the Angels sing when a new child He Anoints In answering that call that day I heard a completely new voice Someone who started finding his way as my heart began to rejoice Oh sure it is just the beginning but such a good start has he gotten With any of His lost child's sinning, Our Lord has already forgotten In other words, don't listen to what they tell you Do what God tells you to do.
