Lover's Fate
Was it the jewelry or cash. Is this why we wouldn't last. Was it the late night disagreements. That led to so many arguments. Tell me what was it. Or what was it. Was it you or me. Did this split come because our family. I do admit sometimes I lied. So many times I held you in my arms while you cried. I wiped away your tears and held you so near. Day in and out I expressed myself to you. I made sure I was sincerely true. So many people was envious and jealous. For some reason did that make us rebellious? We had our wall that nobody could break down. We both didn't sleep around. So please tell me why are you mad. If you won't tell me I can't sleep I got it bad. Mind is flowing with so many what if's and what not's. We was so close and tied together who untied the knot. Breakups lead to heartaches and headaches. So please tell me what's our fate.
