My Dear Sarah,
My dear Sarah, This may be my last letter to you, As I am writing you now I am on my way to the theatre I am booked for a lung operation by 7 p.m. today; My prayer is that the operation is successful But if otherwise, weep not Sarah. Now I shall tell you my wish For I don't know what tomorrow will be; This year you will be thirty-five, Long enough to be mother Sarah. I therefore wish you make up your mind And become mother this year; I would have loved to see your child, A true replica of natural beauty you are, If God wishes I will. My dear friend, join not the folk That see this God's gift as burden And consumed their babies' lives with theirs; Children are tomorrow, they are our extension, They are the shining jewel on our crown, They are the ever valid testimony to our lives. I therefore join you in prayer: Mama born you ,you shall bear yours; A banana sucker does not dwell by the river bank And still be barren, you shall not be barren; The family of locust knows no barrenness, May you never experience barrenness. On this note I will stop, If we meet again we shall smile, If we don't Sarah, Remember this and make my soul happy. It is well. Your loving friend, Kayode.
