Your letter shattered my heart and it wasn't even written for me... which is what hurts the most We were both there in that hour of hostility her and I were there together my heart had hammered at your angry words but I still stayed near you so you would know that I still cared And yet... you write only to say sorry to her Do I not matter? Do I not count? Many times I've cried because of you and yet all I get are broken apologies devoid of any meaning But she....she has been given so much... She who received a poem of sorrow- written by your heart When sorrow and guilt troubled you, You gave a gift to another- after bursts of anger turned weary and your soul burned with grief of shame But still...I remain...tortured by my insane love for you While never you are sorry...for the pain...
