Looking For a Clearer Path
My way was getting so far lost Confusing and just way off course Not sure where I took a turn That was a mistake and wrong Trying to find a right way back But I just kept getting smacked Knocked down every single time There is no reason or rhyme Why the path is always blocked Entrances are closed and locked No admittance anywhere I need someone to help me clear A area area to cross That wont leave me at a loss Why is my world in a spin Over and over again There's always something after me This can't be my destiny Days and weeks are going by I'm still asking myself why This never ending torturous Evil's causing such havoc On my soul going insane Never causing hurt or pain I've been good and kind to others Now dark clouds surround and smother Every second, every minute Of my life that I am in it Praying for freedom I hope This downhill, slippery slope Will soon stop, I'm sent a sign I can step over the line Walking out of darkened shadows Into brightly colored meadows
