He Wrote Me a Sonnet
Dear Friends: Today is a special day for me. My poem, Ballad of Mistress Moon was chosen as Poem of the Day. It came at a right time because I've been feeling rather depressed about my writing skills and abilities of late. You have no idea how this has cheered my spirits. I'm SO in love with writing. It is the passion of my life. It is more than a hobby. It is my lifeline... The second lovely occurrence is that a very kind sweet poet here has written and posted a wonderful sonnet of dedication to me. Robert Lindley's dream of a sonnet, Moon, Light that Celestial Path, has deeply touched my heart not only for its literary beauty but also for the kind spirit in which it was written. I'd like to thank you, Robert, for lifting my spirits with this tribute. It has done me worlds of good. Bless you for your kindness to me. I was in need of it today. With gratitude, Eileen Sorry for the strange formatting. The words at the end of the lines keep getting cut off!
