Blessings
I sit here now with heart and mind; Pray fond endow to send most kind. God bless your days with courage bold; Let light fill stay with warmth when cold. May all you feel bring fond good cheer; Let lovely spring unfold right here. When sorrow comes around the bend, Know that faith sums the way you stand. When hurts and pain cast shadows dark, Know that hope gains a brand new spark. When harshness falls upon your maze, Know beyond gall that joy clears haze. When something bad happens in life, Know that thoughts glad will ease the strife. When smiles seem lost in bitter times, Know that the cost will fund new rhymes. When days look sad with rancid waste, Know beyond bad to grandeur's taste. Keep faith and hope when dreary flings; Keep lovely scope to sculpt and sing. May wit and jest bless your life quest; May your fine fest bring love and rest. Leon Enriquez 13 July 2014 Singapore (Afternote: I was thinking about Monterey Sirak when I wrote this poem. I read her blog and found out that her son was recuperating after a fall while climbing. My heart goes out to Monterey and her family. God keep you. )
