Why Me
Why me though? I gave you my heart and I gave you my soul my time, and my honor I loved you like no other. You see, I had courage to talk to you to spring a smile to your face to make a flame grow in your heart, but why me, why now do you treat me this way? I've done nothing to hurt you to displease you you called me a friend and that killed me inside. I gave you a quick hug goodbye thinking I'd see you again and again, but I dread that day, I should have never let you go. Now, I am dying, a hole in my chest, from a shotgun blast heartbreak and betrayal left behind so lost, so confused, don't know where is where and where time starts and ends, only I know that time has stopped ticking for you and I. Now, go with him, the 'best thing that happened to you' as you call him, go with him, and I hope you are happy, sure you smile, but somewhere, the man you knew a Chris Boskovski, is dead. But, you keep on smiling, I guess it's just my Christian duty from God, to make others love and have them take a part of my heart and kill me ever so slowly. Why me...I ask, I'll never know...
