Sometimes Heartbroken
Sometimes Heartbroken I know I still love you After all that you’ve done You tell me different lies Than you told everyone I try to deny The pain that’s built up inside Though, even when I smile My heart starts to divide Sometimes heartbroken Now that I finally realize The words that you’ve spoken Were really all lies Sometimes Heartbroken I’m dying inside And I can’t seem to get over you No matter how hard I tried Now every time I see you I feel emptiness in my heart But then I remember How you deceived me from the start Even then I had a feeling That this may never last But I can’t help thinking About throwing away that past Sometimes heartbroken Now that I finally realize The words that you’ve spoken Were really all lies Sometimes Heartbroken I’m dying inside And I can’t seem to get over you No matter how hard I tried So tell me why You had to lie to me You may have tricked everyone around you But you were the one who just couldn’t see Sometimes heartbroken Now that I finally realize The words that you’ve spoken Were really all lies Sometimes Heartbroken I’m dying inside And I can’t seem to get over you No matter how hard I tried Sometimes Heartbroken As I look back on this I find that I’m no longer broken As these words pass my lips Sometimes Heartbroken
