Letter To Santa
He sat up late one night and wrote, His heartfelt Christmas dream. Dear Santa, I wont ask for much. His eyes began to gleam. I've got a baseball and a glove, A rocket and launching pad. I've got so many things to share, But, I haven't got my dad. He left us not to long ago. He didn't even pack. He went to heaven, Mommy said. But, now I want him back. I miss my Daddy. I miss the way he holds my hand. I miss my Daddy. And I don't really understand. I miss my Daddy. I know he must be missing me. If you can find him, Santa. Please, put him underneath the Christmas tree. He always hugs me when he leaves. He always says goodbye. I hope he wasn't mad at me. It makes me want to cry. It's not the same without him here. Why did he go away? My Mommy's eyes are always red. She won't come out and play. Dear Santa, I just want one thing. The love that I once had. I'll give you everything I own, If you'll bring me my Dad. I miss my Daddy. I miss the way he holds my hand. I miss my Daddy. And I don't really understand. I miss my Daddy. I know he must be missing me. If you can find him, Santa. Please, put him underneath the Christmas tree. I hope it's not to much to ask. I hope I've made it clear. My Mommy misses Daddy, too, And wishes he were here. If you can't bring him back to me, I hope I'll understand. You've always done your best, I know, To make my Christmas grand. I miss my Daddy. I miss him every single day. I miss my Daddy. OH Santa. Why'd he go away? I miss my Daddy. I know he must be missing me. Please! Find my Daddy, Santa. And put him underneath the Christmas tree.
