Lungs feel burning, breath is shallow, eyes wont focus thoughts are fallow. Fear engulfed and over looming, hanging fate, eardrums a booming. Room is spinning smells of stench, laughing screaming sounds of wench. Blinding light with piercing sound, fight or flight response is wound. Wait or move what should I do, tuck and roll or something new? Blood is dripping down the wall. I hear a banging in the hall. I see a knife of which I grab, wet with blood who did I stab? Warm, the blood, still dripping thick. My arm, the knife, awake I prick. Awake! Awake I scream, no sound! Hand to mouth, then chest I pound. Am I alive, is this all real? Someone wake me what's the deal? Help me, help me, louder I scream, and still no sound is this a dream? Panic fills me up inside, the need to run the need to hide. Shadows violently attack, scratching, digging in my back. Away, AWAY, AWAY scream I, gasping breath revolting lie. Troubled heart disheveled soul, no hand to mouth an empty bowl. Waters deep the drowning's sure, cold as ice the liquids pure. Clear as crystal, visions lucid... Now the story begins!
