The annual Running of the Roses takes place today. At Churchill Downs racetrack in old Kentucky, several thousand spectators are hoping to get lucky. Whether they are betting for a win, place, or show, the first horse crossing the wire is what they would like to know. Horse racing holds no interest for me. I have much better uses for my money.
