Moonlight
Walking in the moonlight With a beautiful girl We arrive outside the ballroom and I give her a twirl . A little bit of Salsa , A waltz and then a jive Then a little disco dancing When we hear the band play , Staying alive. You're the one that I want That lovely song from Grease Then we Tango on the terrace I pray this night will never cease . The people stood there queuing Think we're crazy as sin Grooving to the music but making no effort to go in . In this beautiful moonlight I hold you as we dance We are wrapped up in each other Enjoying our romance . Dancing and singing Kissing every once in a while The people in the queue Now begin to like our style . The big burly men on the front door really get a shock When they see you and I Lead a conga around the block . So many people Laughing and having fun A little hokey pokey We show them how it should be done. Huddled together As I walk you home Kissing at the front door You promise you will phone I'm ecstatic next morning When I hear my telephone ring but I know it was the moonlight That made two hearts begin to sing.
