I Was So Very Happy
I was so very happy those days ago, The sunny days and moon filled nights; How beautiful you were, I loved you so. Sparkling blue eyes with a radiant glow, Your gentle touch fueled such delights; I was so very happy those days ago. In dreams our love becomes a picture show Like Hollywood stars under the lights; How beautiful you were, I loved you so. I remember our kiss beneath the mistletoe, With your moist lips, oh how it excites, I was so very happy those days ago. Our love was alive and began to grow, It felt like it would reach endless heights; How beautiful you were, I loved you so. Then suddenly there came a turbulent flow Like a dying star or one that ignites; I was so very happy those days ago. How beautiful you were, I loved you so. February 2, 2014 Greg Stanley
