Cold January Bliss
a few meeting here and there a few kind words shown with care each passing night of the summer finally to find what i discovered a few day dreams and fantasies a few poetic themes and wishes to be that simply vanished i could not see but kindness always kept me hoping the few times i tested my bravery searching for that certian slavery to give my heart and will hoplessness could not kill januarys cold winter night found her sitting on summers site joyful in that special mood that extra nice that was extra smooth she was surprized when i serenaded her you should have seen her wrap arms around my shoulders i felt myself getting bolder and bolder she kissed my cheek she kissed my neck and took a moment to put on lip stick we spoke of love and it's terrible ways and how we made it through those uneasy days who knows when we fell in love maybe before then and it was a summer love we held hands and made our confessions though few the cold hours a wonderful lesson we said "i love you's" that i knew were real nothing except myself to make her feel i finally found what i thought was forever lost away to love someone and equally share the cost we parted with "i love you " and the kiss of bliss and with wondering and surprize that nite i missed reaching to hold her from one block away all day my thought of her stays and stays walking home the next day yet colder still passing by her house my wished it willed she came out wishing me well she had to be waiting of this i can tell she hugged me and i asked for a kiss forever on the lips and i will never miss just for this moment who could ask for more than this twentyfour hours of cold january bliss
