So many times you gave much love and pleasure, Grandpa you were smart, patient, handy and caring, We went to the zoo, biking, fishing plus more which I'll treasure, The talents and attention you gave made it hard for sharing. You taught me about life and how to be, To live honourably truthfully faithfully and just, To smell flowers, touch the willows, taste blackberries and see, That few things in life come free... hard work is a must. The highlights of your life shall be forever sweet, The red canoe, bagpipes, your bike and handmade leather, The cabin, falls, syrup and the whoop to - do - trail, what a treat, Wherever you were was great, no matter what the weather.
