A Lesson In Driving Courtesy By Elton Camp Intending another driver to malign, Joe lifted a finger in an obscene sign The crude act he didn’t wisely choose For the other man had a very short fuse A bullet crashed in from the rear Giving Joe good cause to fear His accelerator he rammed to the floor The other car overtook him with a roar A volley of bullets whizzed by his head “Oh no!” said Joe, “I’m gonna be dead!” Soon his car with holes was riddled Because with a psycho he had fiddled Cops pulled the guy to the side of the road Of guns and ammunition he had a big load Joe learned much better the wise way to drive Because he was very thankful still to be alive There’s a lesson in this for you and me Filled with courtesy our driving should be
