Butler's Sharp Tongue
Butler's sharp tongue slipped by shouting obscenity at a sweet Scarlett who loved him with insanity... and as the Civil War raged on toward nightfall, cannons spewed fire making clouds blacker than coal! Scarlett was willing to forget want, but not hunger, wear her red bonnet to match her auburn hair, feel Butler's manly hand on her beating heart fulfilling her dreams under the brilliant moonlight! What was she hoping for? Did those dreadful screams ever cease, not filling her restless head with more sounds of dire sort? Did she need to hear that horrible word that didn't please? All Scarlet wanted was his warm closeness and comfort! No revengeful thought scurried her distraught heart that wept; she would have forgiven him without regret, had he turned around and taken away from the blazes rising from the roaring ground, but he was galloping on that fast horse escaping death's wrath!
