Ghost
When the mind is full of fear unknown It is a breeding ground of hallucination Creating and projecting pictures vivid Strangely odd that frighten real, indeed. This coupled with loneliness gloomy Plus the ignorance of the real and true With no known way to escape the snare Fashion deceptively the ghost in a post. The ghost then appears very physical With its fragile and thin bony skeleton Protruding long and cranky appendages Make the so-called courageous shiver. The mouth gets parched and words fumble Tremors are felt in the sinews and bones All things look hazy with vision blurred A perfect setting when the ghost appears. The ghost advances to hold in tight clasp It’s forked protruded tongue wobbling The sharp claws on frail and stiff fingers Stretch to tear and devour my whole being.
