Today I ate roast. The one you prepared Sunday. The last one was much better. I fed the dog scraps and he ate them just the same. I guess there was no difference. Yesterday was Mom’s birthday and we took her out to eat at Carlito’s Place. Today she said she didn’t remember eating. The cake was on her table. I wish you were here so you could help me with Mom. She asks about you often. How’s the play going? Call me if you need my help. I’ll tell Mom that you love her. Hope you call tonight. We can talk about the chair— They called to say it’s finished. I’ll see you at the contest on Saturday morn. Won’t you be glad when it’s done? The dog is depressed— He misses you more than words could ever start to describe. We’ll both feel better whenever you return home. Promise me you’ll stay awhile.
