Two Sides of the Road
The two sides of the road,I pass~ Like two shores of the river.... Are glimpses of great contrast... Like a patient's fluctuating fever..! Places of grief & palaces of glee... Stand opposite to each other... Living in their own world separately... With none in a mood to bother...! Tall apartments touching the skies... Fill one half of my vision... & slums,on the other side prick my eyes... Raising doubts to my reason...! Grave-like-darkness & splurge of lights... A better contrast is a rare achievement... Like the dusk that separates days & nights... The road divides two worlds different...! As I cross the midway of differing dreams... A thousand thoughts captivate my mind... We polarize the world ourselves,it seems... & we are the ones who feign to be blind...!
