Shine Jar Lids
SHINE JAR LIDS My daddy's still turned out the corn I drank it on the day I's born the revenuer's looked at me then taxed my butt, cute as can be. My daddy said, that child is mine, cause I sure liked the girls and shine. I danced one night with Norma Jean the Texas Star, know what I mean? She had big assets in the front, a tiny waist, and rockin rump, I axed her if she'd be my bride, then late that night we took a ride. We parked a while in my car she showed me what a back seat's for. Now Norma Jean she sure is cool She makes me go to Sunday school. She likes white lightnin', smooth as silk, and chases it with buttermilk. I got a hound dog, name of Fred, as coon dogs go, he plays dead. My daddy's still still turns out shine but now it's just a hobby of mine. And Norma Jean, she turns out kids, and helps me screw on shine jar lids. © ron wilson aka vee bdosa the doylestown poet
