Stardust Fell Down
Blue midnight sky is blanketed with twinkling stars And once in awhile some stardust falls from heaven afar Some gold stardust fell when God sent me precious you His magnificent Son who made a glorious debut Remarkable entrance into this sin cursed earth A tiny baby, incarnate God, that Mary did birth Awe inspiring miracle, when Jesus came down Someday we'll see Him in His full glory wearing His crown Something called Poulter's Measure Couplets where the first line in a couplet is 12 syllables And the second line in a couplet is 14..Like years ago a person who raised chickens and had hens that were layers would sell the eggs for cash or barter.. Sometimes they would give 12 eggs or a dozen then if the hens were laying good they sometimes would give 14 instead of the dozen..
