A Revolution has started, And everything was a mess. In The streets of Egypt, The Smell of tear gas Was suffocating, Tears were shed, Eyes were blurred. She found herself at last In Tahrir square, Full of anger, Full of fear, And death was everywhere. She now remembers why She has been afraid to leave the house For more than a whole month. She has been afraid to watch the news, Or even the political shows. She remembered how many people lost their eyes, And how loud she heard their cries. She suddenly screamed, and was wide awake.
