When the Telephone Rings
When you least expect, your phone will start to ring, Someone on the other end, just has to do their thing. “ Madam, I must inform you, your gas will be turned off “, They don’t give you a chance to sigh or even cough. It seems when you’re really down, problems just get worst, Anything that can go wrong, well it’s like we’re bloomin cursed. The thunder of the phone again, what else could ruin your day, “ We’ll have to disconnect your phone, if you don’t quickly pay “. Now, if that isn’t bad enough, the telephone rings again, The hydro is out to get you and you’re in such awful pain. You won’t have heat to warm you, you cannot take a bath, You’ll have to figure what you owe, if you can do the math. There’s no tone on the telephone, your line is simply dead, What are you going to do, for you have this horrid dread. Others can not help you, cause your phone is out of whack, What can you possibly do, but crawl back in the sack. Just then the doorbell starts to ring, who in the world can it be, A man standing at the door, you need help so desperately. “ I’d like to inform you madam, I have great news for you, The bank’s issued you a cheque, from someone you once knew”.
