Regina's Blind Date
In today’s society, as each man lives his life, he is entitled by law to have only one wife. The sweetest question to my future bride Stephanie would be my own words, “Stephanie, will you marry me?” Of course, she replied with a very elated “yes”. She promised me to provide a life of happiness. However, one problem showed from the euphoria. This move would break the heart of her best friend Regina. Although Regina wished us all the best with her heart, Stephanie and I knew inside she was torn apart. Although Regina was Stephanie’s best life-long friend, Regina probably felt her world was at an end. This made me feel some guilt with a bit of sympathy. After all, through Regina, I first met Stephanie. I came up with something that seemed satisfactory. “We should set up Regina with a blind date some night. I have a cousin named Joe that appears to be right. In almost every way, my cousin Joe looks like me. I’m sure Joe and Regina can both be quite happy.” We had planned for the next weekend when those two should meet. Over the phone, I described Regina as too sweet. Joe was happy to hear, and could not wait for that night. Everything seemed to be going as planned, and just right. Regina arrived at my house on Saturday night. She was dressed in silk with her appearance a delight. Regina wanted to make a great first impression This lady thought green was appealing for the session. Joe was downstairs in the den watching television. I called him up right after Regina’s arrival. Joe’s looks impressed Regina. She rendered a big smile. To Be Continued
