Once
Once............... My life was sane. Now from those memories I refrain. Not because I feel any distain. Not because I feel any pain. Not because I feel any strain. But Because........ I STILL REMAIN. Once................. My life was serenity. Now I turn from this enmity. Not because I feel any anamosity. Not because I feel any hostility. Not because of any fraility. But because............. I WILL NOT BE A CASUALITY. Once...................... My life was convenient. Now I turn from the sentiment. Not because I feel any attachment. Not because I feel any resentment. Not because I feel any abandonment. Not because I am done with the arguement. But because............ I WANT CONTENTMENT. The me that was has disappeared. When the mist has finally cleared. I see where I must have veered. But here I am alive............. And only a little seered.
