Against All Odds
Tell me how you can travel through a mind where every passageway is blocked by a transparent wall bubbling to explode. In a world that fails to focus, I embark on a trip through a dark, winding tunnel with a never-ending twist beyond reality only I can find. I can't see how far the finish line is, but with each step I take, the ground rumbles as it shakes, making the journey that much more difficult to accomplish. Obstacles in a medieval gauntlet seem less challenging than a visual road filled with cracks and crevices widening as I shudder with each breath. The air so still, my skin begins to flame red, causing my body to drip with sweat, creating an odyssey only the mind can picture without a frame to border it. The feeling of invincibility rises to a peak where the continuation of endless possibilities cease to amaze those not on my level. Freeing the mind with hallucinatons so vivid, not even the Walls of Jericho can divide thoughts of domination crashing together. Thus, realizing the end of time is near. At the top of the stairs, I stand alone looking down unto others. Reaching for the highest point, it would be too simple flicking a switch when the madness ascends, exterminating combative forces, putting to sleep a third eye.
