Looks Like a Tall Order
Pangs of disappointment grip me now as I think about certain things at work an uphill endeavor, a total dedication to what my vocation asks me to perform. I see how in the parish setting grows those relationships and actions shown, they’re like flavors designed to keep going with depth and richness in their life’s situations. With a chronicled mark of rejection, from people who hardly take any action, work or volunteering in some parochial endeavors it’s a failure, a defeat that co-exist with people. Perhaps it’s in the heart of my concern being drawn to think what’s really my goal, as a priest or a friend that guides the faithful in this community where there’s harmony. Inevitable as it may be in some occasions, where my mood switches on and off, like the electricity in moments of difficulties, yes, a battle of temperament and principle. When crisis pops up and makes me wrestle to that slippery slope of human struggles, I always say ‘hang on’, ‘give me time’ from now on a great deal of actions, a gate to transformation. Well, c’est la vie, as I think about my role; to step up to the plate with significant contributions; armed with faith and a coterie of suggestions, with one pervading thought: perseverance in my vocation.
