Asleep To Dream
When you tremble and shake it shakes my world apart. When you cry, in my world, it rains, it floods in here. I'm lying here on the floor caressing your ghost and before these memories loose there edge I just wanted you to know that. How long did I try to keep this all from falling apart? I kept it all hidden while you carved your name in my heart. Sleep is unnerving, the dreams distorting your face. Before the world changes I just wanted you to know that. There's no place else I'd rather be, than inside here with you. Please stay alive for me. Don't close your eyes, don't fall asleep. Don't fall asleep to dream tonight, You'll blur and fade. These memories will close their doors and refuse to play for me. Oh God how they played for me. Now they fade away, please don't fade.
