Wolfman
He had lain all night the grizzly bear was gone The wolves had come out to see the kill done. The alpha male sniffed at the man, just left by the bear The smell from the man aroused a memory lying there. Many years before the wolf had fallen over the edge of a cliff His fall was broken by branches, and he was nearly frozen stiff. He remembered the scent of a male, but human kind As he so carefully lifted him and his wounds he did bind. He was not sure why this human male Would help out the wolf that was so ill and so frail. The alpha male as his wounds healed quite slow, Swore that the scent of this man he would always know. As the man tried to train him in ways of men. The wolf made a promise if they met again. He would repay the kindness, and the good feeling, From the man, one with nature, who now needed healing. The grizzly had gone they had chased him away. This man would now live, but he promised the wolf way.
