I Hear You
I hear you, And I fear you, Are losing the little left you have of that, Mind, There’s no way to rewind, Damages that shocked us like electrical surges, Have suppressed the urges- To stick around, I know now you’re feeling down, But don’t let yourself drown, In a mind coated red, I wanted you in my bed, But I have no breaths left, To deal with what’s left, Two busted beating hearts- Slowly drift apart, I start- Each day thinking of you, Wondering what’s true, Like a bottle of 100 proof, I fought tooth and tooth, For what we embraced so real, It broke the seal, Of every emotion each of us ever had from anyone- Before, Now I feel sore, I’m dragged run weary of the madness in the night, I haven’t slept a solid one in months and I might- Lose mine if I have to spend, One second, Still in your prescence, I may regret this, Because the days that weren’t crazed, I was always amazed, At the love you bore, Only for I, I could have tried- To free myself long ago, But I’ve lost all control, Of the good amongst the bad, All that we had, It’s drifting to dust, Turning to rust, I must, Be free.
