Questions For the Sun
Caitlin 24 Hours Is the sun yellow? Is the sun white? Our eyes just can't handle a star so bright! How far do the rays go? Are they short? Are they long? They should reach around objects, no shadows belong! Why must it leave? Why must it go? It keeps away night and lights up the day below! Why does it hide? What does it do, behind those dark clouds, lurking in the sky? There's pittering, pattering, flashing, and booming! Rain, lightning, and thunder, OH MY! Why does it not control its own heat? This question confuses me a lot... Spring and fall feel OK, but in the winter it's too cold and in the summer it's too hot! Why can't the sun stay? Why does it stop shining its light? I like the sounds that come in the morning, not the sounds at night! How come I am tired? Why must the sunset? I know why of course, and it will be back tomorrow I bet!
