Selfish
Seeing only what you want to see Makes a world in chaos Look like a walk in the park To over look the few with tears in their eyes And only see the happy people keeps your life simple But the one you over look may very well be you some day Reaching out for a hand to catch you A shoulder to cry on Or someone to confide in To find the one person to show you that The world isn’t all bad That someone can truly care about you That you are worth saving Wondering if you’re alone Wondering if you’re the only one who feels the same One sided crushes to afraid of the unknown Playing it safe and hiding in the shadows When you can be blind to the world with a perfect life Who would care as long as you’re ok As long as you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist Right…? To be so blind and selfish
