A World Run Amuck
An apple fell up out of the tree Newton’s hypothesis has been revoked Ships fell off the edge of the sea The Earth being round was just a joke Evolution as a theory turns out to be wrong Men are still monkeys, don’t you know Sirens of the sea are singing their song Into their deadly clutches the sailor boys go Dinosaurs never walked the earth But aliens from outer space often did The Chaos Principal has given new birth To the secrets that science has hid The sun rose in the West today The moon dropped out of the sky Hell managed to freeze over some way We eliminated the English word, “Why” Answers are wrong that once were right Laws no longer apply We sleep in the day and are active at night Airplanes no longer can fly Parallel lines now intersect Circles have corners instead Religious beliefs are circumspect Lady Liberty stands on her head Tomorrow might never arrive The Mayan calendar might be correct I just hope that I can survive As this world becomes a wreck
