Frank My Kindred Spirit
We formed a special bond in school, over seventy years ago. It started on the day we met, and time has helped it grow. No one, could ever take his place. Frank is like my brother. During all life's ups and downs, we always count on one another. Our many years of memories, will never fade away. Our dreams, and recollections, aren't lost in yesterday. When one of us is hurting, we both feel the pain! That's how really close we are! Why it's so, we can't explain! He was best man at my wedding, Godfather, to my son. My children call him "Uncle". To them, he's number one! Frankie never married, which I feel is kinda sad! Two years ago, he moved down South, cause his health was turning bad! Frankie didn't want to go, but the Doctor did suggest. He came, and asked me what I thought. I told him, it was best! It hurts not having Frank around, but his health is on the mend. That's the most important thing, cause Frank is my best friend! I'm his Kindred Spirit, and certainly, Frank is mine! Although we're not together, we keep in touch on-line! He's my favorite Hero! Love ya Frank! Ralph Taylor Contest: Holding out for a Hero
