I took the flowers to my Hospice where I volunteer, Wanting only to make things better, trying to be sincere, While many take for granted the beauty of the petal, On the Dining tables, the bunches in vases settle, These dying people were so grateful for such a small token, This may be their last spring flowers, these thoughts unspoken.
