Absolute Love
Through the rain that falls thick as milk, I see a face of a girl as she lurks. Sad and alone trugging along, I wonder what could have went wrong. I approached her ever so slightly As not to startle her blindly. I said 'are you okay?' and she looked up at me, With sadness in her eyes as she shivered ever so slightly. She said, 'I'm alright just trying to get home', 'As my boyfriend left me here all alone.' I asked, 'How could someone abonded such beauty?' And she blushed and said you're such a sweetie. So I drove her home through the rain storm, And she talked about her love of storms. I shared my love for them as well And we giggles about it all the way home. I asked for her number and she smirked, And I told her how I would treat her much better than that jerk. She wrote it down and said you better give me a call, And I smiled and said you're such a doll. That night was the night I seen true love, For all these years we stayed, In absolute love. -eddie Written 5/13/11
