Satan and the Hallow Oaks
Satan and the Hallow Oaks Alone lost for not only does time fade In only these lives will you feel our eyes Beating…Beating Like the heart of the lost Like the blood seeping through you wounds He knows pain He is known as pain Wishing only harm Upon you and upon himself Cast down from paradise For the simple sin of wanting more Wanting more than was given but there was nothing to give An escape given to the sinners It confines only the saints Paradise was only the image they painted With words that make it sound perfect But with all places war War will follow the cold winter And end the summer In the forest of the hallow oaks Satan waits praising the forgiveness Forgiveness he won’t receive For the faith he denied All these ties fade to find a new reason to fail A new reason I am nothing Nothing… Nothing Nothing more than a shallow memory in the fog In the fog of war on the frontlines Fighting but I don’t know why What purpose do I serve Ending these lives that could fade with peace I wish I could fade in peace But instead I die in a haze of fire They call it glory They call it fate I call it pointless When you wake be sure to be humble Satan and the hallow oaks will be waiting
