Too many people with so many cries Too much to lose yet another just dies So much sorrow, carrying so much shame So much is lost, with no one to blame. Too many people with no place to live So many people with so much to give So much has changed, yet is still like before Just close your eyes and then close the door. Too many people who just cannot see Too many people just longing to be free Too many people caught up in this game Better wake up it’s your thirty seconds of fame. Too many people with nothing to believe Too many people with something up their sleeves Too many people brought down to their knees So many people that are crying out please. Too many people that just fell asleep All of those people finding the hill much too steep Too many die while so many weep Too many people in way too deep.
